Lewina David
Lewina David is originally from West Africa Monrovia, Liberia and moved to the United States at the tender age of 9. While most children get their inspiration from athletes, models & television stars, Lewina has always been inspired by the personal style of her mother, Rosemarie James, who always wore a signature red lip. It was her statement lipstick that sparked an interest in Lewina to become a professional makeup artist. Under the keen training of industry pro Saisha Beecham, Lewina mastered her artistry skills, set etiquette and signature.
Lewina is also a Local Union 798 Makeup Artist for film & TV. She has had the pleasure of working with countless celebrities such as Regina Hall, Issa Rae, Michelle Williams, Yara Shahidi, Kenya Moore, Common, and Omari Hardwick just to name a few. Makeup is her passion and she uses every face as an opportunity to evolve as an artist. She intends to make herself a household name painting one face at a time.
