Camera Ready: The Art of Collaboration: Lindsay AdlerLinh Nguyen and Yvonne MacInnis – Monday May 3, 10:00am-11:30am
The relationship between a makeup artist, hair stylist and the photographer requires trust, communication and a mutual respect. In this first time main stage presentation, Award-Winning Educator and Master Photographer, Lindsay Adler, takes to the stage with frequent collaborators and industry leaders Makeup Artist, Yvonne MacInnis and Hair Stylist, Linh Nguyen bringing you through an experience every artist should witness. As a New York based photographer with an international reputation for creating education as well as capturing unforgettable images, Lindsay lends her eye for beauty and knowledge of what photographers look for when hiring their teams.
Linh and Yvonne take to the stage to share their insights on editorial. They will offer advice on how to work in this exciting area of the industry while sharing their inspirational editorial beauty work they’re known for.

Makeup and Mixed Media Artist, Lyle Reimer has elevated the title of makeup artist to a whole new level. Fusing fashion and art together and combining the passions that drive him, Lyle creates works of art that are extraordinary and blur the line between makeup art and fine art. Each of his unforgettable pieces are created strictly from found objects and recycled garbage giving fantasy and undeniable creativity in his self-portrait personas, which fuse facial sculpture, makeup, and imagination. In his first Main Stage presentation at The Makeup Show, you will watch a Master Artist in Action. Lyle will showcase the visual components of color, form, line, shape, texture and value to take you from fundamentals to the fantastical. Watch and experience how an artist can use color, texture and found materials to elevate an application. See how two-dimensional ideas are adapted to three-dimensional in an exciting application unlike anything you have seen on our stage before.

Our IN the Studio classes provide an educational experience to artists of all levels to help refine their makeup skills and elevate their artistry and career in an intimate setting. Each class allows attendees to listen and learn through demonstration, coaching, discussion and practice hands-on while receiving informative feedback from their instructor. Registrants will also have the opportunity to use different products from brands that will be participating at the show.
