WHO CAN ATTEND?

The Makeup Show Houston is only open to professionals working or studying in the beauty or fashion industries. You will need to show your ticket along with professional credentials at the door. Credentials include: business card, comp card, call sheet, tear sheet, student ID, school enrollment, professional license, work ID or pay stub from a beauty related business.

Houston is fast becoming one of the nation’s capitals for the beauty industry. Now more than ever, beauty professionals, brands, entrepreneurs and businesses are calling the Bayou City home. Since everything is bigger in Texas, The Makeup Show is bringing some of the biggest pro-brands and artists to the Lone Star State for this 2-day beauty event. After many successful years in Dallas, The Makeup Show is excited to announce our very first The Makeup Show Houston!

 

The Makeup Show chose to move from Dallas to Houston not only because of the city’s culture, creativity, character and overwhelming request from local artists, but to help the city from the still prevalent aftermath of last year’s Hurricane Harvey. Having 60 brands featured, three full days of education, and a great environment for networking, creativity, and inspiration makes it a great opportunity to help the city see that there is still sunshine after the storm.

We’ve always had overwhelming support from the artist community in Texas, and we hope we will continue to see that support carry out through 2019. We hope our Dallas area artists understand our reasoning and are still able to join us for our very first The Makeup Show Houston.

Build a better kit, learn new tips for your career, meet makeup legends and experience the industry event that brings artists from all over the world together. We welcome all working or studying in the beauty or fashion industry, including makeup artists, retail artists, estheticians, cosmetologists, hairstylists, freelance artists, fashion stylists, buyers, agents, photographers, models, costume and theater designers, face and body painters, etc. 

Students currently enrolled in courses related to makeup, hair or aesthetics are invited to attend as well as will be required to show Student ID or proof of enrollment. The Exhibit Floor, Main Floor Seminars, and Keynote and Business Forums are included in the price of admission. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door for an increased price.

Union Tickets

Local 484 members will receive a complimentary entrance for Sunday and a reduced $25 ticket price for Saturday.
