Vivian Baker developed a love for makeup and began in her early 20’s as a working makeup artist in print and then extensively in commercials. She fell in love with creating characters for film which lead her to exclusively pursue work in the film world.
As one of the few artists with both Prosthetic and Beauty skills, she began gaining a reputation for her work. She later moved to Los Angeles to fully immerse herself in the industry. She was already a journeyman in both the NY and LA unions prior to her move to Los Angeles. Her Makeup Skills have been seen in such Film projects as Jurassic World, Oz, The Great and Powerful, Great Expectations, 21 Grams, Spiderman, Amelia, Charlie Wilson’s War and Various Television Series. In 2009 she won an Emmy for her work in the HBO movie Grey Gardens. Her most recent work includes, Passengers and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
