Tip of the Week: Pouty Lip

James Vincent’s: Tips for creating a Pouty Lip
The always fashionable pouty lip is fun and flirty for all occasions. Start by choosing a lip pencil shade that is close to the lip shade. Using the tip of the pencil, sketch along the bottom lip line from corner to corner. Sketch along the top lip line from center of the lip, outward to each corner and fill in the entire lip with the pencil. Blend it out with a lip brush or your finger. For full luscious lips, use a clear lip gloss only in the center of the lip. Blot off excess gloss and, if necessary, repeat steps until the desired density of color is reached. Add a second slightly darker Lip Pencil around the lip line and in the corners of the mouth for a poutier look. This is perfect for women who like a fuller lip look or want to feel fashionable. Some of my favorite products for this pouty lip are Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Lipstick, Smashbox The Nude Lip Pencil, Youngblood Cosmetics Lipgloss in Coy, and Inglot Clear Gloss.

  1. The makeup here is flawless and the lip looks great. However if the strand of hair across the eye had been edited out it would be a perfect picture.

thanx 4 the tips, this was vry helpful :) for those of us that have tiny tiny lips i recommend using the lip plumping shop lip plumping device first and then to follow the steps above, that is what i do, it just gives me that extra volume i need
